Honestly we've all been through hell with you this past January. If they haven't been filtered out yet there's probably nothing short of a complete 360 character change that would filter them now, unless they've just been living under a rock and have been totally oblivious.

So, why did the first aggie have so many people contributing? It's a multifaceted issue, I'll name what factors I can.
1. Scheduling. When we don't know when Kiki is streaming we spend our time inefficiently between streams. If we know there won't be a stream anytime soon but we still want to do something nice for her we are more likely to engage in projects. Basically schedules not only help the streamer but also the audience to be more organized and productive. If she doesn't just want us to be present for the stream but also do stuff like draw then she needs to give us time to do it.

2. Endurance streams. Same as above, if we're spending all our time watching Kiki then we don't have time to do other things for Kiki.

3. Novelty. I don't think it is a coincidence that the first aggie was the best. The more you do something the more you phone it in and just do the bare minimum.

Outside perspective here. The current state of her channel is the results of your choices and Kiki's choices. Early on she went hardcore with shilling herself everywhere, and she even did 2 big collabs early on which got her a large audience quickly. After she started telling you guys to only watch her and told you guys to kill the first steam group you guys turned around and told her how you felt it was unfair for her to spend time with other vtubers. She agreed with you guys and stopped. Her being isolationist and you guys being hostile to new viewers would naturally slow the amount of new people wanting to join the audience. Also the drama that happens didn't help things. Of course the audience size would shrink over time if you don't have enough new people to replace the natural flow of people that leave over time.
