In the media business, Kiara is what we call a hog. She's so eager to perform that she spills over into her collaborator's airtime. Typically amateur performers end up starting out either as hogs or as too quiet and shy to fill their own air.

Typically, when doing something like offstream rehearsals--the kind of the thing the ENs would have done pre-debut-- management would have told Kiara to reel it in and let the other girls hold up their own airtime. Putting out a good performance isn't as important as letting the amateurs grow and improve. But after 6 months, if the shy ones aren't filling their airtime, then there's really no more meaning in the hog holding back. Filling airtime is important, and if the quiet performers haven't started to improve yet then they just aren't going to. It's more or less become a thing now that Kiara goes out of her way to fill airtime, this stream she even had pre-prepared questions she was falling back on whenever the other girls got quiet. She thrives in the role and it's clearly a necessary role because EN is 3 quiet shy girls, an actual autist and one girl with the charisma to start a conversation.

The opposite happened a couple times even during this collab where literally nothing was said for 5 seconds solid before Kiara broke the silence. The problem is less with her talking so much as her tendency to talk over people because of lag and general Germanic autistic bluntness. Even when she'd prod the other members with questions, they'd largely just give a one second answer instead of building a conversation off it, which is why she was all over the place trying to to ask a million questions. I don't know if Gura didn't have her normal cliff notes of talking points, or if she was just not fully awake yet, but Kiara started almost every conversation in the collab.

That all being said, she needs to let someone else look over her batsu rules because she has the same fucking god awful sense of humor as the Japanese and that doesn't play as well with the Western audience.
