Selen was playing vanilla Dead Space, and I don't know if the game ever got a community patch like DSFix, but the PC port of DS1 is notoriously bad. I think there's a lot of things that are tied to the framerate, like the physics, so if you have the game running at anything higher than 30 FPS, then all kinds of fuckery happens. I remember Selen finally "fixing" it after an hour or so of restarting the game by exiting out of the game entirely, making some kind of change in her GPU settings, and then relaunching the game. But even after that, textures would get stretched and distorted beyond recognition, and bodies would ragdoll like crazy and float around and bump into walls and shit. It turned the horror stream into something more like a dark comedy.
