That's not an issue cause there's a native feature to export to youtube. Being split between platforms may be dumb but regardless.
What really sucks is the ads being forced by splicing them into the HLS stream, lack of being able to pause and let a buffer build up to prevent unwanted buffer pauses mid-stream (though even on youtube you need a userscript to enable it for streams with it disabled), lower max bitrate forcing even worse bitrate starving than we already see on most tumor streams on youtube, and for me the site doesn't even work 70% of the time. Though that last one could be my own fault with any combination of having umatrix, ublock, and being on linux. Not that whitelisting the site completely in ublock or umatrix helps at all.

There was a viewboost exploit that involved opening up thousands of tiny windows. This was widely known in the Asian and widely used to boost streamers, indies were doing it too

Youtube patched that exploit, which was good. But then they went a bit too far by flagging people who posted emotes in chat. So it was a mixed bag

I think the point is, the numbers don't matter and they never did. It is pretty dishonest that these botted views are still counting towards the view total, considering youtube pays out money for every couple thousand views on your videos. So these people are still defrauding youtube by a lot

Wouldn't a members stream be the easiest way to demonstrate the offset between public CCV and poll votes? You can't get randos, there's no reason for viewers to drop out of content they PAID for mid-stream, and would bots even be able to buy a membership?
