>Delu's Christmas Visit to the FanDiscord
Delta came in and started with some chatting and drinking. There was discussion about problems regarding submitting the files for Connecting, so the system was changing to submitting them in a channel within the Delutaya Project Server. For those who still haven't entered it, you can find the link in #・private-general-chat , #・聞き専-fanbox-vc , or send a DM to Kuro Hayakawatm. Due to Discord reducing the quality of uploaded audio files, please put them into a .zip file before submitting them!

Conversation about the differences between Japan's Christmas and the West (romantic vs family-oriented) led into a discussion on people's past relationship experiences. Delta wanted to start with more negative talk and end with positive talk, so she asked about heartbreaks/breakups first. Various stories were given, and enough time was spent talking that the conversation never got to happy relationship experiences really.

At 22:00, the music video from the Project Server's Christmas Project was premiered, and Delta was made to cry again. Ruki had actually hopped into chat a bit before the premiere and watched it, too. The conversation moved into songwriting, and Ruki revealed that she had an original song as a Christmas present too, so everyone watched it together.

Delta shared a clip of a cover she's working on. The song is Fuwafuwa by Makino Yui. Delta and Ruki also confirmed that it would be possible for them to complete the full version of Chocolate Box. Delta's motivation is very high right now, and today helped boost it further.

The focus finally shifted to Fall Guys, and many games were played, lasting almost four hours. Quite a variety of people managed to win at least once today, with the most wins going to Rubi! Delta was unfortunately unable to win tonight.

Okazaki-sensei hopped in and showed her finished Christmas art of Delutaya as well.

Before Delta headed off, she mentioned again that she wants to hop in either the 28th or the 29th while in the car on the way back from her grandmother's house in Saitama. If she does, DeluMama and DeluBro will also end up in range of the microphone, so we'll be able to interact with the whole DeluFamily.

Delu hopped straight into voice chat after the stream ended to play Valorant with Fanbox members.
Kaigai Nikis had some issues connecting due to the region lock. The way around it seemed to be to make an account on the jp server using a jp vpn, but this wasn't a solution that was available for everyone.
Due to how important hearing footsteps is when playing Valorant, those not playing were asked to mute their mics while the games were in progress.
Delu played a few rounds of Valorant's death match mode with those who were ready quickly while the other players installed and updated.
Delu then played a couple of 15 round 5v5 games, taking about an hour in total. (Both her opponents and teammates were fanbox members).
The first game her team won 13-2, the second her team lost 2-13 (despite several heroic last stands).
After Valorant ended there was half an hour of talk in which various topics came up:

- Someone asked about when the next singing stream would be and Delu said she'd like to do one some time in January, (though no definitive date was given for it).

- When she mentioned she was playing Valorant with some other streamer friends, Noriji suggested she could stream it. Delu was initially hesitant as some of them were male, but when Noriji said he personally didn't have a problem with that, she said might do it.

- Delu saw the clips of the pafupafunyannyan and buhi from the stream beforehand. Her amused reactions to them led into a conversation about how her visits the fanserver have revived her facial muscles. Her counsellor has noticed how much more expressive she's been, and how she laughs more naturally. She says the way she laughs before was awkward and thanked us for the extra opportunities to laugh that her visits gave her, saying how much fun she's had.

- Delu wants to come play APEX, Valorant, Fall Guys with us again in January, as well as have a Karaoke party in discord voice chat. She's made a schedule for the 3 gaming visits in #でる限定日記. Three days in a row. APEX at 22:00 on the 8th, Valorant at 22:00 on the 9th, Fall Guys at 16:00 at the 10th of Jan. There wasn't a definitive date for the karaoke party. It's possible the fall guys stream (though probably not the voice chat) may be public.

- Noriji brought up the idea of streaming games on youtube instead of via discord (to get around discord's limitations). Delu liked the idea of doing that for Fall Guys and maybe APEX but felt she'd prefer to keep Valorant discord only for now.

- She may also pop into discord before the 8th for a geurilla visit if she feels like it

- For the Saitama trip on the 29th, Delu will either join vc in the car, when her mum will be driving, or she'll join while in the hotel at night (when her mum will be asleep and thus unable to participate)

- Delu said she's looking forward to hearing our connecting auditions, and reminded us the deadline is in 3 days.

There's a reason the discord has different roles for proper streams and discord visits. Just grab the roles you care about.

If you still want to hear her voice but can't stand ours, Discord lets you local mute people. You could shut out everyone except Delta and then listen to just her occasional scream and try and follow the half conversations. If you do that though, try and keep yourself muted too as otherwise you may try talking over someone else that you can't hear.

Same it really helped turn her life around and get everything in order. Although I wish it never happened personally know what we know with the hindsight available shows that although this road was painful for her the path through Hololive would have been and even worse minefield with an extremely high possibility she would have still ended up graduating or at the very least going on several lengthy hiatus to the point it would be no different then if she graduated.

Personally I don't even think the Aloe model was that great. The design was amazing but it did not transfer very well into live2d if I was going to be honest. It is nice though that hololive reused concepts from it in other girls such as Chloe and Irys. It is also comforting to know that Guchico was given the opportunity to adopt another Chuuba and essentially resurrect Aloe in the form of Aizano Minami's redesign which I feel incorporates many of the aspects I loved about the Aloe's design.

In a sense everything worked out Delta is able to make music and has developed friendships that have helped her grow as a person even learning to smile again, Guchico got his daughter, Yagoo saved another girl, and Cover using a hype feedback loop of Gen 5s debuts, Aloe's suspension and graduation, Myths debut, and the Taiwan Yab coupled with the ongoing pandemic became the forefront of the Vtuber boom. In fact my only gripe is that Cover isn't cutting her a check every week despite her being instrumental in their explosive growth though that is nitpicking.

Regardless the growth she has experienced and the samples of her music as well as the love she receives can only lead me to the conclusion that yes I do believe the termination of her contract has lead to the best possible outcome.
