Most of you niggers were laughing and joking around when Council and HoloX were losing hundreds of thousands but cry as these guys lose 25k.

The sub culls are going to affect their long term growth, I think. Say what you will but big numbers = hype. Even councils hype got slightly deflated since their subs weren't as big as people thought they should've been due to all the culls. The worse part is that the general audience wouldn't really dig beyond the surface so they wouldn't be aware about all the culls. Worse case scenario is that this keeps happening long enough that the hype for them just dies because the west puts more importance on subs than CCV.

nijis maimoto and banderasu are popular but they still only have about 350k-400k three years after debut. male vtubers arent really for the mainstream vtuber market except for a few exceptions like kuzuha. they are rather niche for the most part.

It does happen, unfortunately. I have a female coworker with a channel where she documents the growth of her kittens. Got a respectable subs of 20k, and already she's complaining to me how her subs got cut down random. Sometimes by a 100, other times 500. There's even that one time where sho got a whooping cut of 2500. And this is despite the fact she routinely uploads twice a week.
So yeah, Susan makes no distinction. Just because you doesn't see it happening, doesn't mean normal Youtubers don't get culled.
