A lot of people think that Hololive is a straight forward game but it's really not. I played through it many times and different versions but outside of having difficult bosses, there really isn't much to the game. I'll put a spoiler warning for those who don't want spoiler.

Once you get past the tutorial boss you're already going to do well, or at least well enough to get you past bosses like Omega who, while have some bullshit mechanics, is still pretty straight forward (His tranny/transportation attack is annoying cause he keeps teleporting everywhere and can break out of stunlocks).

From there you can try to take on the Akai Haato Sub Ch (the released EN&EU edition calls it "Haachama Darkweb CH" for some reason) but its not needed except for maybe some extra items and exp to help take on Tanigox. He will be your real first boss of the game People talked about there being a bunch of extra bosses they call the Homos but it was a mistake from the magazine. The Homos was suppose to be in a separate game call Holostars and isn't in this one He's not difficult, but will probably be your wake up call boss where if you're still not understanding how the game work you won't make it far. But beat him, and you'll be fine for the rest of the game. There are a bunch of paths from here you can take that gives you separate stages and different bosses but they're mostly all the same so it becomes a matter of choice although there was suppose to be a specific combination and path you need to fight against to reach the Secret Final boss but it not been confirmed yet. It might have to be with total numbers you get from each boss.

There is also a suppose to be a pre-order bonus if you brought the limited edition where you can fight Aloe Ch. I heard she was suppose to be quite a challenging boss and was suppose to originally be part of the game but was cut due to complaint or whatevs. IDK. I never fought her myself and there is one missable boss in a secret stage but it's complicated and I'll put a link to another guide down below.

Finally you have the post-game secret boss that you can only have after finishing the game on Lunatic Mode and trust me, she is HARD AS FUCK. There's rumor that Cover fucked her up and it became something of an infamous Bugfest when you fight her. It's been super controversial, so much so that I think she was even removed from the Chinese release, which did piss off a ton people (The Chinese release instead got 6 extra boss to make up for that but I heard they were jobbers and sucked since it was Chinese based, except for maybe that Yogiri one who was instead Taiwan based)
