Nah, it's bad advice. Because now you can't see who interacts with who at all anymore. It's just a bunch of balls representing gens with an unintelligible mess of lines between them. In the original you could at least still make out some connections and lines, that's gone now.

Data is only worth what it can be referenced or used for. With that being the case, what can /vt/ do with this outside of making up random rrats to explain infrequent communication?

Obviously companies with analytics can use it to adjust interaction frequency to create desired perceptions among viewers, but to me all I see is a bunch of yarn strewn about all over the place.

How about the original full map, but with all connections between members of the same generation hidden? Since the majority of interactions for most can be assumed to be within their same generation that should make inter-gen interactions a lot clearer.
