I feel like nepotism can be excused in the early gens because Hololive was just starting. Many things start that way, where the only available people who are willing to put time and effort into some niche thing are your friends and family. After it gets big and successful, then it's less acceptable to constantly hire your friends, though not completely unacceptable.
