Its a different game from Animal Crossing. You do have to survive before you can build. There's tons of need to knows. Sana just needs someone to help fully walk through the game. Also didn't help she joined when Myth procrastinsted the portal. So everyone was on crunch building it.

For that it will come down to someone actually teaching Sana to properly mine. But perhaps Sana could do what I do instead and "build" mines. It only really works with carrots, potatoes, wheat, and beetroot. Hell if Sana insists on only growing wheat then she can leave the space empty. Sugar cane needs a water source block to grow. And once pumpkins/melons are grown the vines don't need to be harvested. Sana can put flowers between the wheat for bees. When bees are covered in pollen the particles they drop act like bone meal for crops. So having a combination of crop rows, flowers, and bees optimizes your farm. You can make a harvestable hive over water source blocks by placing a trapdoor over a campfire before putting the water above the trapdoor.

I actually wouldn't mind a watchalong every week if she can have a consistent schedule for it that doesn't dig much into her normal week. Preferably a weekend thing with stuff she hasn't watched before, so she could use the time to clean out her backlog. We all know how that is.

A watchalong and a Drawing member stream every weekend on top of a 5-day schedule with a Holoscopes to start/end the week. Something like that would be ideal maybe.

I really think she needs to find a balance where she can do some of her work onstream non-membered though. I don't know what kind of projects she has, but even just streaming something like a 50-minute figure drawing session to warm up for work that day might be worth trying. The better she can integrate her two professional worlds in some way, the stronger she'll get.

The reason game publishers don't want streams paywalled is because streams are marketing. They want as many eyes on stream as possible to sell the game.

I made it to the 3 month mark but i'm starting to wander off more and more during her streams.

I don't enjoy her in a non artist context and I feel like that's what i've been mainly staying around Sana for in hopes of some more art streams that will never be coming the way I want them to..The drawing with friends stream put the nail in the coffin for me.

That's what pushed me to consider ending it. Member's content has been dry too, so I don't know. I'll catch her streams whenever she comes back and buy merch, but I won't go back to membership.

People should duck out until Sana's back to a consistent stream schedule again if they're just in it the content. I like her and Baelz member streams the most in council, they're the only ones who chill out and have a different vibe, everyone else makes it feel like it's just another stream.

All of council are pretty bad with their memberships though. They don't use their community posts for anything except for stream-related questions, their watchalongs are all anime series which is harder to get going than movies (and series are shit because of the time gap between continuations) and none of them have a definitive content "draw" to them, whereas Gura and Irys have their Karaoke, Ina's art, Kiara's real talk and Calli's behind the scenes production stuff.

Ame back in summer was the gold standard for membership, gave out random updates, thoughts, images and shared fun things. She's stopped that now though, only Ina does that sort of thing anymore, feels bad.

I'll see how things are after New Years. I basically think of member in place of SC, like a Twitch sub. Personally I feel like most member content should be public anyway, unless it requires a small group, so I don't value the exclusivity much. The actual member videos themselves have been fine to me. I think she's still put more time into her member stuff than like, Mumei, at least for now.

But I want to see her really hit the ground running after the holidays. I don't really care about the game choices, especially if she keeps running endurances (play what you love), but I really want to get the impression she's as serious about streaming as her art career. Show off more of that creativity, assert dominance.

If she knows she's gonna need to spend days that week focusing on a commission, cool. That means the first hour of that workday can be a members drawing stream of her warmups, and then the last hour of the day can be a short public stream to show a cropped sneak peek of the progress she made (if it's not under NDA). If she wants to grind more Pokemon, maybe she can draw up some cute infographics breaking down classic Pokemon meta for people like me who don't follow it closely. If she wants to do more astrology, she can use her skills to make some cute edited astrology info videos. If she wants to play more indies, she can make a real showcase of it and have a monthly event where she invites devs to share their secret WIP demos with her or something.

It doesn't have to be exactly like that, I dunno the limits of what Holo allows, but I just want to see her keep trying more new things. She should be finding whatever ways she can to flex her skills as much as she can and go in deeper on whatever she loves. She's doesn't need to wait on other art/video talent to help her with this kind of stuff like some of the other girls, she's already got it. That's the good shit I wanna support.

But if after a few months it's obvious she's not giving her stream that kind of focus, then it would make more sense for me to throw that money at the stuff she's been more dedicated to, whether it's the merch or posters she worked on offstream or whatever. If streaming is the hobby, then I'll watch as a casual.

I wasn't sure about becoming invested in myth because I couldn't tell if this gig meant something or if it was a phase to drop after a year or two. Now it looks like most of myth are attached to their fanbase in it for the long haul, I just want that same kind of sign from Council. Sana especially since her game tastes and streams are top, seeing her express some real long term fondness for being in Hololive would get rid of any unease.
