i'm a chuuba because it lets me do content creation and put myself out there without having to use my actually ugly mug for it. art styles and aesthetics aside, it's nice that a chuuba can be a horrific burn victim irl but with an avatar show themselves off however they like. add that on top of people who get to stream as a character and it can add that layer of casual acting/LARPing with it.

i hate how high pitched my voice is. i can't use the NVIDIA noise cancellation stuff, and things like the RTX voice and a lot of basic noise cancellation stuff cuts out about a third of my words. but looking back at my recent vods i notice how terrible the airy background noises are. i guess i really need to experiment with this but i wish it were easier

You have a few choices, since I can't recommend switching mics if I don't know what you use.
Set a lower standard for the noise reduction/cancellation, it will kill less background noise but it won't risk messing up your voice. You have to test the best settings.
Use no filter and lower your mic sensitivity, this will require for you to speaker louder and probably closer to the mic. You will solve the issue at the cost of having to speak loudly, which I know not everyone is able to do it (family, roommates, bbbbbbbb-, etc.), and it's also way more tiring to do it for long periods of time.
