Moona's Blue Clapper was the stand out for me so far even if she spent too long talking since she only had 3 songs. Sui and Watame were fun if you hadn't seen their Lives before, IRyS doing her own songs for the first time was interesting, Rikka did a good job and I really like Spiral Tones when his voice isn't being abused by autotone, but Mori scuffed the fuck out of hers which was disappointing. Claire was cute but her audio sounds like she was recording in her bathroom between the heavy reverb and mic. Himehina and Aoi were also concert VODs, but worth a check if you like them and haven't seen them. Aoi's audio quality on hers is surprisingly mediocre considering the production quality and how it gets cleaned up when she's talking, though.

Nerves are eating her alive like happened to the birdmama, and her mush mouthing all the lyrics reminds me of Sugar, but she's certainly got potential. That final Never Enough performance gives me a lot of hope for her, given it's the one she clearly practiced the most for and was flexing on. She struggled at some parts that aren't that hard, so probably has nerves leading to control issues, but she did very nicely on the more challenging parts. I hope she sings often, I think she could be very fun to listen to.

She's not a top tier signing talent, especially right now, but she's better then the average and mentioned both that it was without any coaching, which she wants to pursue in the near future.

Boogey fucked up Hachi's name by not doing all caps so it's not linked to her Spotify channel, but the EP is out.

The title track in Dominator is interesting. Hachi and Ci harmonize so well at points that I thought it was only Ci singing for a good portion of it, though they do give the bee a nice solo near the end. Happy End lets Hachi stand at the forefront more, but still has a lot of beautiful harmonies and the big woahs are amazing. The fake out of throwing the opening of one of Boogey's songs in the middle is a neat trick, and having Hachi and Ci do a call and answer before going back to harmonies with all three of them is really nice. Rainy Proof is great as ever, though I'm not sure the very smooth song suits Ci's growly voice so I don't think I'd listen to it again over the original even if I do like the chillhop section Fra adds. The counterpoint of Hachi and Ci on the wordless section right before the final chorus is quite nice, though. Pray a LOVE feels like it was much easier to slot Hachi into then adding Boogey to Rainy Proof, but that might be my bias from listening to Rainy Proof a whole fucking lot, but conversely it feels like it's not a big change from the original since they just give a couple of sections to Hachi and have her sing along side Ci in a few more. Overall, it's a fucking great album despite my nitpicking, and I am gonna have to pick up the zan ticket to see them do these live.

Haru's album had a lot of uniqueness, though? You had songs like Lift Up and オオゴト against slow jams such as 告げ口. I also happen to like Kaf's voice, but the point was more about how her albums have a wider variety of songs while Jou's album was all the same, haunting whistful gentle songs that kind of blend together. She can sing uptempo stuff, but there wasn't a single one on the album.

Clipping songs can be beneficial if you do your SEO properly, since you can't search for an X song cover if it's in the middle of a karaoke. It helps if you're spreading them to an established audience of a big clip channel, but clip channels have to start somewhere. However, the social media I was talking about was Youtube and music streaming sites, mostly. By and large, they understand that getting people tweeting under a unified Hashtag is how you manipulate Twitter, and most have those for both big events and general streams. Conversely, Youtube's much less transparent with how to drive engagement and while Western content creators have a checklist of things to do on the metadata side and within the content, that information doesn't seem to have to spread across the ocean. They also largely don't take advantage of the tools that music services provide for even semi-pro musicians in the form of being a verified artist and such.

I don’t really agree with that. Isekai no Housekitai, ANEMONE, Waltz of Storytelling, Hydrangea are pretty upbeat and even then songs like Maboroshi no Machi and Yasashii Sekai are more slow and interesting. The only thing I was kinda let down by is the omission of Dimension, but maybe they felt like it’d make the album too long or it didn’t fit anywhere in the tracklist.
