What pink cat collab?

I'm really just curious what they consider when they allow/disallow collabs. I know ID has almost zero fucks to give, which to me seems like a terrible idea. EN seems like it's all sorts of fucked up. Give the okay to the vshoujo girls who are regularly very political, drama whores and generally a horrible collab partner for a company that wants to keep it's nose clean, but deny the Selen one? Why? For what reason?

Selen didn't say the collab was canned, just delayed for next year, so most likely as early as January, we'll get it, else she has no reason to keep mentioning it.

One thing I notice about hololive, they rarely collab with other companies. And most hololive viewers aren't even aware that other companies exist, nor have they ever watched a talent from another company.

That's one of the reasons I take nijisanji's side, because they collab freely with other companies and they support indies. Nijisanji fans frequently watch indies on the side, and are not kept in the dark about hololive or other competing companies. They watch nijisanji because they have chosen these girls against all the others. It's not a monopoly for them. In this situation, they are much more virtuous and worth supporting. It's such a better atmosphere altogether.

I think the reason is the two different business models. Nijisanji is more about "scale". That means, going for a massive number of talents. Each one has relatively limited management, and great freedom to run their stream how they want. That's why they can collab so freely with all these other companies, because there's less controls and oversight on any individual talent. Nijisanji is more about volume, getting all these talents under their umbrella.

Hololive is much more structured. Management has more power. Much more energy is focused into each individual talent. Unfortunately, I think this creates a very bad social situation. The interactions are often unnatural, forced, scripted. It's doesn't feel right. They don't even talk like real people half the time.
