I feel like today solidifies my theory that Peko is jealous of MiComet. Her stream today wasn't planned, if it was Senchou would have mentioned it. The only thing Senchou has mentioned this past week about a Peko colab was asking her if she wanted to come over and hang out unless I missed something. I think Peko realized they would be on the server and quickly changed plans.
Past occasions involving PekoMiComet have brought this theory on:
Mario party Peko questioned if they came together which I don't think they did I think Miko decided to go and Suisei saw her join and did the same for support/rub MiComet in Peko's face hence her exclamation and Miko's embarrassed reaction at first.
Peko's reaction during the summer festival prep. She was akward around both of them but more so Miko possibly from her thinking Miko set up the MiComet MP to get to her, also her calling out Peko with the discord ghosting.
During Mario Kart they were fine why? Because no MiComet. Peko isn't threatened by MiKorone because she knows Korone is Okayu's.
And during the sports festival it was the PekoMiko show there was little interaction of MiComet. Peko had Miko to herself and it was like nothing changed. And Suisei seemed off, not talking about the prep when she had her toothache, but not setting an alarm and showing up late for the festival and basically ignoring Miko the entire festival. Then showing up the next day making Miko the happiest girl in the world.
Miko is definitely a harem MC like she wanted.

Bros, no matter how much I see of them MiComet just can't surpass PekoMiko for me. I like all three of them: Pekora, Miko and Suisei, and I've watched a lot of MiComet stuff to cope with the fact that PekoMiko is no more (at least for the foreseeable future) but none of it is anywhere near as good as PekoMiko. I can see what you mean, but I still don't think it holds up. Pekora isn't as reliant on Miko as she was in the past. She's changed, broadened her horizons, gotten more fit, dressing more fashionably and made a lot of friends outside of Miko and she does things with them regularly.
That and just because Suisei and Miko have developed a bond of their own that is still growing stronger doesn't mean it negates Pekora and Miko's bond. Miko showed this during both the toriningen practice and during the actual sports fes that their bond is still there and as strong as ever, and however much her bond with Suisei strengthens won't change that. You can have bonds of deep trust and reliance with more than one person.
