Just read both chapters, I think it's pretty good. Looking forward to more world building and explanation for the lore. I can see how the second chapter feels a bit rushed, but it's not at all bad. Sometime the details just don't matter in the long run. Although there's a bit where the narration goes to third person and addresses Anon directly. Not sure if that's intentional or not, maybe I'm missing something.
Another thing I noticed not about the story but the replies. It seems all SFW series only ever get (you)s from the same couple guys. It's always one guy talk about a problem they have with the chapter, and then few more guys quote the first reply and parroting the same opinion. I hope it's not just one dude samefagging, because that'll be really sad for him and the authors. I think you people are too harsh to focus on a story's flaws, it's all amateurish writers here, why get so serious about critiquing? If I'm an author it'll kill my drive to write if someone just shits on my story, even if they have a good point. Anyway, I'm not against critiquing, I just never see a simple "nice story" reply to anything, it's always two paragraphs pointing out a small problem that doesn't matter.

Because we used to give out replies like that but began to realize (and point out to others) that deeper criticism allows for things to be improved upon. I always try to give an example of something I thought was good/well done within the story while also pointing out what I thought could use some polish. It's not trying to shit on anyone, it's the opposite. So long as the criticism is actually applicable and not just 'lmfao this is shit downvoted' it shouldn't be stifled. People bother to critique things because they care or are invested in seeing something flourish. Anything given in bad faith should be readily discarded, yes, but genuine, real criticism with examples are another thing entirely.
Simple 'nice story' replies still exist, albeit in far smaller numbers - usually to NSFW stories, where it's easier to just bust a nut and give a cum-covered thumbs up. But SFW stories, especially series/multi-chapter works, are far more likely to get expansive feedback since it isn't just something you cum to and call it a day; it's something trying to engross you in a plotline without appealing the monkey brain of 'UOHHH SEX'. Now, that last part isn't a knock at NSFW stories by means, for reference. Plenty of good NSFW stories with good plot.

Do you have any stories from the archive you like? Try to figure out what it is about them that hits the spot for you, then try to incorporate that into your story.

I think with smut, there's a combination of a few things you can weave in:

1) Description of actions; yeah, everyone knows what sticking a ponos in a vagoo is supposed to look like, but if you leave <too much> to imagination and just rush into actions like you're checking off bullet points that's not erotic at all to read. "You stick your dick in her quickly, pump your hips then cum" could be considered a complete story with beginning, middle and end, but a terrible one.

2) Description of senses; how things feel, what the characters are going through and how they react. Smells (perfume, shampoo, the smell of arousal, etc), touch (how her insides feel, or the heat of her thighs or her nails running on skin, etc.), sounds (her heavy breaths, pants and moans). It all adds to the atmosphere of a story because actions alone read more like an instruction manual than something supposed to be sensual.

3) Word choice; using the right word to describe an act is important, but the timing is important as well. The hornier you get, the more "dirty" words seem to have an impact on how hot a scene reads. I tend to not overuse "cock" or "pussy" in the early stages so I can use them later on when things really get spicy, just as a form of extra impact for the reader.

4) Dialogue; this should be pretty obvious but some dirty, or sweet talk can go a long way in a story. Personally I don't like to write porn dialogue because I feel that's just incredibly out of character for chuubas unless it's pretty established that she's a slut, and breaking character too much zeroes out any benefit of dirty talk for my tastes.

But the most important part is to just get up and write and to not be discouraged if you get a lukewarm reception right away.

It was fair criticism. If I'm totally honest, I shouldn't have put it out. I was trying to force it and it didn't come out as good as I wanted it to be. It was rough around the edges.

But, from that, I've learned to wait until I'm inspired to write. That way it'll actually be something good and not just average. I'd rather the critique too. God knows I'm not the perfect writer. It's a pretty good start, but I think you should have held back on releasing it this early into the story since while it does adequately set up the concept of Reine as a teacher molesting a retarded Nene, it kinds of need a bit more.

I have to agree with the other anons in that it felt sort of jarring how they immediately turned on you with zero hesitation on their part but I'm not sure if it's because you essentially just wrote the ending without the context or if you did it intentionally to make the entire thing feel more like an actual betreyal. Since everyone's giving their two cents in then I'll do to. You're a pretty great writer in both your prose and the dedication you have in your craft, but one of the biggest complaints I have is how hard it is to give criticism to your work because there's not much to talk about per individual chapter. That's not to say that you should always write a couple thousand words every time you pump one out since there're some stories in the archive that are pretty short but incredible to read, what I'm saying is that every chapter should feel like it said something or that it set something up.

I'm assuming you wrote the Flare abuse fic the other day since you're the only one I could think of that can write that fast and you pretty much cemented yourself as "the dude who came from the abuse thread and decided to stay" and if you are then that is an example of a great fic that is only a few thousand words long but felt like a complete set in it of itself. You're a fantastic writer and I feel like you're holding yourself back by writing these short chapters and not showing off your own personality in your own way of writing.
That being said, this is just a hobby thread so take everything I say with a metric fuck ton of salt and just enjoy yourself as we all write about our favorite chuubas while we try our hardest not to fall down the gosling hole.

An interesting and fair bit of critique. I'll experiment a bit with it then. I'll do a mix of writing multiple chapters (though no more than 3 per go so it's easier to digest) and try to find a way to give each chapter itself a bit more identity to itself, as you both said.

I was not the one who wrote the flare abuse fic, however it is interesting that you feel I'm holding myself back. To be honest, I am a bit. I have material, some of which I've already written, that's far darker than what I've put out yet and haven't released it. I do tend to pull my punches, even with Apple of Her Eye. There's another piece I'm working on called Sakura Summer that I've been debating releasing. If you thought Apple was dark and depressing, the one is really going to bum you out. I know the obvious response will be to just post it but I think I'll use Golden Goose to test the waters. If this one isn't too much for people, I'll release Sakura Summer.

I appreciate the critique, and of course, that you've read it. I do agree that their betrayal appears as jarring, although that was the premise I built it on.
