It's more or less the same, which isn't a bad thing.
Tsunderia is trying to be experimental as usual, adding males before Holo and Niji. So far I surprisingly like them all despite me not being into androgynous males and I like Amiya in particular due to her boomer game gimmick, depending on how she spins it she can make some pretty fun streams.
Prism seems more or less the same as they always been, safe kind of generic vtubers with a lot of potential to be entertaining. Prism has a recurring theme where you can't tell if 'x' vtuber will be entertaining or not until at about a month in.
Kawaii I have no clue since I didn't even know they existed until a few weeks ago so i'm still catch up on them essentially.

She goes "I'm a bit of everything" so she probably lived outside of Australia for a time, I would assume NA, and got a blend of accents. But no North American learns to pronounce 'no' like she does at 6:28 which means she probably grew up Aussie rather than the other way around.

Kawaii - went all-in on GFE. The whole generation is GFE with a slightly different flavor and they aren't trying to hide it. Makes sense in theory; Nene is their big hitter, and she does GFE, so that's what the company does now, I guess. In practice, it'll probably just siphon views from her and not result in much company growth, but at least they have a clear direction

Tsunderia - musical generation with two m*les and one "other". Surprisingly, this is the group that impressed me the most. They're bursting with musical talent, they act like siblings in collabs, and they mesh well with the casual feel of the company. If Amiya can keep pumping out bangers like these >>13016603 and Kazu keeps showing off his top-tier FPS skills, this group could put startups on the broader VTuber map for good, and now is the best time to do it with people falling out of love with the top 2 corpos

Prism: went the Niji route and snagged 4 safe picks. Nothing really surprising or worthy of much hype since we knew their PL's pre-debut. Not sure what the idea is releasing voice packs on debut, but it's certainly optimistic. Cap needs to really step up his game and steer this ship in a clear direction with clear leadership if he wants his content to be competitive now

But I did check Tsuderia a bit, since they seem to have wanted to actually risk a bit (especially with the whole adding males and also adding them in a mixed wave unlike NijiEN), the spider is very promising, good voice, interesting game choice, music knowledge that goes beyond just singing and an actual willingness to use said talents more often from what I have seen going by her Mario Paint stream, the boys seem pretty interesting as well, the bunny didn't call me all that much besides his singing but Kazu did interest me plenty, he's pretty boring and his way of speech is a bit sleep inducing, but he has a lot of potential, especially with his musical skills, so I will be keeping an eye on him

You mean Reimu which gets around 400 or so. The other ones in her Gen get 800 and depending on the time solo a stable 1k. I still don't see any of the small corpos getting near Reimu's live numbers, nor the network to boost them like Niji EN can with their talents like they did with Reimu with their collabs. The other small corpos don't have that sort of audience, even when you look at non-bugged viewer count on Twitch. At least that is what I've seen from the more popular girls from their respective companies like Miori, Nene, and Shiki.

Let's not kid ourselves, getting 10k subscribers isn't an easy thing to do, and getting another 100 stable live viewers isn't easy as well. I am looking forward to all of the other corpos to collaborate with one another for some great collabs. I believe Millie has expressed wanting to collab with Tsunderia and Selen and Finana have collabed with WACTOR and PRISM. Getting to 150 to 200 more live viewers is a lot to ask for a lot of those small corpos. Not only that but obviously only a small portion trickles down to the rest of the company as well. Looking at Nene versus Reina or Miori versus some like Orla and Meru, or even within Niji EN like Selen versus wave three. There are so many factors. Kawaii Gen 2 is downright amazing, I loved all of them. Anyone who watched their debuts will tell you that Namiji Freesia is perfect and honestly that's not too far off. She likes different types of games, can be entertaining for hours, an amazing singer who pulled off fucking Bohemian Rhapsody almost flawlessly. Lua is an adorable dork with a unique voice. Aruru seems like a retarded zoomer but she's so fun to listen to, I can't get enough of her giggles. Neena is like a more mature Isla, nice oneesan appeal and good at games. Shee is extremely entertaining and full of energy. And all of their models are amazing upgrades from the first gen, both design and rigging.
Out of TsunDream I liked Amiya and Kazune, others were kinda meh. I'm looking forward to their music production though, I'm interested in vsingers and this gen could bring something new to the table as they not only sing but produce music, mix, play instruments etc.

I think it was planned at least to some extent. Prior to these debuts they all were doing their own thing but this time they had their debuts so close, Tsunderia and Kawaii last weekend (and they made sure not to overlap), Prism this weekend. Talents are constantly replying to each other, even retweeting, talking about each other on stream, planning collabs etc. This unity move doesn't seem so bad actually. Maybe it's more profitable to shill your talents to the audience of another small agency even risking losing a small portion of your audience the same way, than just stay irrelevant being in your bubble. I may be wrong about Tsunderia because I didn't watch anyone before TsunDream, but I had an impression that while Prism and Kawaii girls were popping up here and there, Tsunderia was mostly out of picture except for a couple of talents.
Ironically new gens entertainment value is in reverse proportion to their popularity for me. It was Kawaii 2 gen (amazing gen, good designs, no duds personality-wise) > TsunDream (liked some of them, liked that all of them are good at music production, interested in seeing how their males will do) > Prism 4 gen (didn't particularly like anyone). But I have a feeling that their popularity is exactly the opposite, Prism is getting pretty well-known because of Shiki, Tsunderia has some chuubas people know about but Kawaii is still largely obscure.

On top of their designs being leaked on /trash/ before their official announcement, they were revealed almost a full month before their actual debut, by which point any hype for them died down.
Hanabi is a milquetoast, reclusive hermit who never interacts with anyone and is almost invisible on twitter, and she has only done two collab streams in the entire four months she's been around, one of which was a full company collab.
Orla came out looking like this (Slugma shouldn't have let this pass), and her voice and streaming personality don't exactly have mass appeal either. She's actually very nice, but she's not a moeblob like the other girls.

Seems like a recurring theme among Tsunderia, well across chuubas in general, especially female ones from what I have seen.

Terumi went indie by buying her assets and proceeded to shit talk her previous company (after just a day of a tearful parting with her genmates, Cyberlive, and some other company I forgot. The now-dead /amber glow/ went up in flames as Terumi, her private discord and Amber Glow talents/managers duked it out in the thread while everyone watched it burn. Some portions of /asp/ and /wvt/ either joined in the shitposting or just observe the trashfire. Previously, there was also an argument in /asp/ between presumably Terumi and CyberLumi about black companies. The worst part here is there was no fucking yab at all, just Terumi having a menhera attack and resulted to hurt feelings and burnt bridges. She didn't even do anything worthy of condemning, but she was just fucking retarded.

The end result of that? Terumi failing to stream regularly, continuously asking for donations from her remaining fans. Talking about how she's been betrayed all her life by people including her parents and how she has nobody left. Terumi is a menhera of the highest degree and nobody should ever listen to her.

Definitely Production Kawaii, Charzu plays it online and Namiji plays it offline but doesn't want to stream it. Both will do an 8 hr Endwalker review.

They look interesting, but not many of them caught my attention desu, though gotta give Tsunderia some credit for actually risking ad trying out something different and debuting males and putting them in a mixed wave instead of segregating them into a different group on top of that, not even NijiEN took such a step.
