Okayu speaks Tohoku-ben naturally. It's incredibly common for people that speak that dialect to hide it. I feel like I heard she speaks in a combination of two accents. Definitely NOT Kansai-ben alone, because it doesn't sound that odd. Sounds more like somewhere in Tohoku, they get crazy accents up there like Tsugaru-ben which almost doesn't even sound Japanese.
However she also has her quirk where she just doesn't pronounce parts of her words.\

Miko has the worst by far. If you listen to Korone for all of a couple of minutes you understand the "way" she talks and can compensate. I mean they're all native speakers (I think?), none of them really sound foreign or whatever. Its just some of them have harder to follow accents or weird quirks like Miko's babyspeak. Its like comparing a Scot and a Londoner and asking which has the worst English.

Also I'm convinced Calli plays down her Japanese or something. She's lived there too long to fumble as much as she does.

>I've heard Cali speak it one time cause I don't really watch her and it seemed she was n4 at the very least but people claim she's shit at it.
N4 sounds about right, she's not particularly fluent but she sounds like she could just barely get by and communicate. Mind you N4 is not that great.
Of the current people that seem like they're making an effort to learn I'd say Kronii has it the worst, she's definitely barely starting out and while her pronunciation seems to be great for certain practiced phrases she does not have even the most basic grasp of grammar.
Ina is probably better than she actually performs, she seems to be shy and doesn't actually talk too much, but seems to pick up on most of what she hears. Bae's on the otherside of the spectrum of that, kind of awkwardly stuttering and getting stuck places but definitely going full chatterbox despite her vocab seeming to be lacking.
I haven't actually seen enough of Sana to tell you how good she is but she at least seems a step above calli.
Kiara likes to pretend she's better than she is and has admitted to it, she's probably below Irys.

Personally I also have a problem of not speaking formally/respectful enough. I learned informally by just living in Japan so I never really got formal study with respectful/dictionary standard forms maybe Kiara is similar or she just doesn't care.

Like other anons have said it's a combination of Kansai (where she grew up) and Tohoku (where her grandma and likely other family is from)
As for others, Okayu is from Aomori, Watame is from Kyoto and Noel is from Saga, all generally speak in standard dialect but occassionaly slip into their native speech. Kiara not being too respectful and acting forceful is pretty on brand with how she acts normally, so it does make sense she is that way in Japanese too. It might be a cultural thing, Europeans tend to be very forward and blunt in a way that doesn't really go well with Japanese people.

She's exactly like that, her official story seems to be that she just tried copying people online and pretended like she was fluent as long as she could until she eventually got a job in japan. Once there though, she realized her lack of knowledge of formal speech fucked her over a lot and she didn't know how to be properly respectful.

Luckily I am a very clearly American and with that comes the idea (within Japan) that I am going to be loud and informal and clumsy so I was normally forgiven like "Ahhh that Gaijin-kun for you!" and also I am a Japanese history/culture nerd so I get a pass for having a "Yamto-damashi" as well.

If you have even surface-level knowledge of Japanese culture you should understand that being respectful is actually important and speaking keigo properly lines up with that. The JP members went out of their way to mention that Baelz (le chaos rat character) actually speaks keigo to them while Kiara has never once bothered. It left an impression on them in a meaningful way. Even though it's not part of my culture and I'm learning informally I still use honorifics when referring to someone in Japanese because that's how their language works.

It's not a matter of "hiding" it, and it's not like Tokyo-ben is ""flawless"" japanese either. People learn 標準語 (which is probably what you meant by Tokyo-ben, although they're not the same thing) because Japanese dialects have a lot of things going for them (not only accent, but different particles, words, etc), so having a standard is useful.
