She's cool. Also the only streamer who turned Vtuber and actually improved her content (and drastically so) that I know of. There are several chuubas that I used to watch but dropped because they became lazy once they turned 2D. She on the other hand used to be a mix of boring and constantly annoyed and her only redeeming qualities was her drawing skills and Holo fangirling. She really pulled a 180 since then. That really surprised me.

I know some streamers don't, but they are in the minority.
I vastly prefer youtube streamers because chat can't unilaterally interrupt the stream with their cringe, even if the monetization model and player are worse on YT.

A lot of smaller streamers on twitch (see /wvt/) don't get enough subs/donos to be spammed so it's watchable at least.
It really happens once someone gets big. Saurei and Vshojo are the 2 biggest Vtuber examples on twitch of this. They really should know how badly it affects the experience having this stuff spammed across the screen during a gameplay stream. Then you look at some big non-vtubers like Jerma/Vinesauce/Joel who have no alerts, no dono messages or anything instead they thank people at the end and it makes for a much better viewing experience. It seems either the vtubers are completely unaware, or trying to bait the normalfags into donating to get their names on the screen.
