Their collabs were 10x more fun than anything I've watched in HoloEN. I just tuned in for the Meltdown thing and Rosemi's gameshow, thought they were entertaining, so now I watch their collabs over Holo's. I almost never watch solo streams since I barely have time as is. Never tried Vshoujo since I felt like they were aimed more towards a twitch just chatting audience over weebs or /jp/ adjacents.

It's not as seiso as HL, but it's not as crude as VS. Most of the talents are right in the middle, which is nice. Also, NJ-EN has Selen Tatsuki, and, to be honest, that's 50% of the appeal right there. Pomu makes up 30%, and all the other girls are the 20%.

I hate saying they're irrelevant, but look at Kawaii and they don't have a thread on this board, neither a general nor hate thread. Hololive EN was disappointing for me all of them had low powerlevel except Ina and their collabs were dry as shit. Watched Ina for a few months then stopped.

Lazulight was the first english group I liked mostly because of Pomu. Slowly got attached to all of them thanks to their interactions with Pomu.

"forced friendliness" is a bit of a vague term but you'll see what I mean when you compare the Ethyria Phasmo collab with any HoloEN collab. Any friendliness between NijiEN livers has so far been pretty organic rather than the awkward "we're one big family!" thing Hololive does
