I can vouch for this. Except for maybe the last two as in the last few years a lot of zoomer kids are getting hooked on streamers, but even then the only games they will care about is FIFA and Call Of Duty. My Nephew is 16 and confirmed this with me a couple of months ago at family gathering. Anime is still a niche hobby and looked down upon, even if it is becoming "more mainstream" kids don't care enough to discuss it outside of their inner circles or risk being ostracised.
All in all, Vtubers are still not a big thing in the UK. Any aspiring streamer will do the usual facecam on Twitch and play Fifa, CoD and Fortnite.
