I like that the veneer of "idol culture" allows more variety to streaming outside of just playing games all day, and the inherent culture of getting better and doing reps to become closer to the ideal. Sing, dance, write and create, molding all these maladjusted women into stars of their own show. If I wanted to watch someone play video games all day, I'd just watch a bunch of let's plays or better yet, a male streamer.

it's actually fucking hilarious to me how people here think they are different or even better than kpop fans. like it's the most hilarious thing in the world to me.
They are nearly identical to me. Everything culture wise is nearly interchangeable.
