lactose intolerance isn't like a nut allergy.
Lactose intolerance just means your body doesn't produce lactase, the enzyme which lets you break down and digest lactose.

Normally mammals only produce lactase as newborns, since that would be the only time they normally drink milk. Humans are just degenerates who keep drinking milk into adulthood.
If you have lactose intolerance and you drink milk you just can't digest it. You don't get an allergic reaction, otherwise it would be called lactose allergy.
You'll probably get an upset stomach, maybe diarrhea in the worst case. Not pleasant, but not dangerous.
