How many hours of your life have you spent listening to the phrase "thank you for the superchat", or "thank you for the donation"? Isn't it really annoying hearing this over and over?

A lot but I enjoy it.
Knowing there are losers out there that throw money at e-thots while I get to enjoy entertainment for free is s good thing.

I don't understand how people can be entertained by this. And I don't understand the mindset of people who donate just to hear them say that, which briefly ruins everyone else's experience just for an insincere moment of phony-gratitude as the streamer says "thank you" like a robot, just as they have 1000 times before

0 listening superchat reading is gay

>> No.11672715

None I don't listen to entubers read superchats because that's gay, especially when some faggot pays money to flirt with a woman he'll never fuck.

You know there’s more to superchat readings than just superchat readings right..? The entire appeal of vtubers is that you can get up close and personal with your oshi for hours at a time, and zatsudans are perfect for that

What chuubas actually do this with no zatsu tangents?

>> No.11680372

I've heard it from IRL streamers when I was young and cringe, so I'm numb to it now

>> No.11680436

I'll keep it in the background for my oshi while doing something else but even then I usually tune it out which is why I'm glad my oshi doesn't cater to SCs much.

I just eat or exercise while my oshi does superchat readings and pay attention when they start going back on a tangent? personally ありがとうございます kinda gets soothing background noise on the ears after hearing it enough

I'm almost positive none of them do this. It would be sterile as all hell. I would physically cringe if someone sent a nice, non-cringe message in a superchat and the chuuba just said "thanks" and moved on. There would really be no point if it was JUST 30 minutes to an hour of them saying thank you ad nauseum.

My oshi doesn't get a lot of donations and can read and reply to all of them. It's basically a bonus zatsu and it's pretty comfy. I tried watching EN superchat reading one time, listening to her repeating "%username% thank you" over and over was awful.

>> No.11680915

>>11672406
The vtubers I watch say supachatto arigato gozaimasu every 30 min or so, and if the SC has something interesting they respond to it, but I don't watch SC reading portions/streams and thank god my oshi doesn't do that. I don't care if they go into tangents just do a free-chat at that point. Read the chat instead of answering "Whats ur fav anime?!" for the 10th time

I love Artia, my sweet oshi. Thanks for putting her face on the board. I get tired of thanks when it's not my oshi or they put on a weird inflection (e.g. Ame's bizarre thank yOUUUU)

OP aren't you tired of seeing the bloodveins in your eyeball literally every moment of your waking life that light reaches your eyeballs?

no right? you stopped noticing it before you started forming memories because your brain just phases it out as long as it remains a static and unchanged sensory stimulation.
the same thing goes for whatever smell you've been smelling the past hour, you can't smell it anymore, if you put whitenoise in your headphones and just wait, as long as you can't hear anything else you will eventually also stop hearing the white noise.

That's what "super chat sankyuu" is, whitenoise being phased out by my brain as sensory input that needs no processing.
