Up until about a year ago I didn't really get idol culture, with how obsessive some fans get and why girls still yearn for becoming an "idol" despite all the baggage that ought to be public knowledge by now. Now, 9 months later after I began tuning in to Watame regularly, I actually get it. It's not about obsessing about a girl being cute on stage. It's about seeing her through her road to realize her dreams, bumpy as that road may be, and being there to support her all the way through if only in spirit. The fact that Watame herself is kindness incarnate and a beacon of light in a year that would've broken my spirit several times over helps too.

There was an issue with the SPWN stream where the fps was around 20 fps and wasn't fixed until 40 min in while also having a bit audio chop around the end, but looks like it's been fixed in the archive. The tech felt a bit outdated compared to the Zepp Tokyo, but overall it was a good performance and it was neat seeing her change costume mid song which would've looked great if Watame did it for her sololive as well.
