It only takes one guy to go from a broke literal-who to a full-time corpo streamer full time to show that it can be done. He would have to be masculine guy, meaning not effeminate, not a menhera, not a drama-whore, or an unassertive pussy, just an overall just talented likable guy that. We already have EN males that are doing well but their either effeminate or menhera like bungotaiga or Zentraya or they're already well known like MerryWeather. Male ENVtubers are not going to be a thing with those serving as the ‘role models’.

The problem is that male streamers out-earn female ones MASSIVELY so any established one is either shit or not gonna get a better offer from Niji than Twitch, because on the flipside a shit male brings less to the table than a shit girl.

I’m not saying they don’t have talent, in fact I have watched clips of Niji males and Holostars and think they’re quite entertaining, but I don’t think I would be able to sit through an entire stream watching male vtubers. I think I have a preference for female vtubers and honestly if I had to watch males I suppose I would just watch youtubers
