The reality is, though, that she is still playing at a Master/Pred level. She won scrims in RIG against pros. She won a custom lobby match yesterday against pros and performed better than Qu did. When she pubs on stream she ends up matched with ALGS players like Prestlyy.

Even if she no longer finds the ranked grind fun, she's still that level of player. I think she will be given Pred points but not 'Skillful Pred' points like V-Gorilla, as he reaches Pred consistently whilst Selen does not.

So I think we can expect her to be worth 8pts (12-2-2 for being a foreign woman). Making her any less than that could make her the single most valuable pick in the circuit.

It certainly wasn't the best, as we've already seen how great they can be in prior Lazulight collabs, but it was still pretty good for what it was and I'm glad they're getting sponsorships. I think that despite the inflation, it has established itself rather well. As for the Twitter Vtubers, hardly can count them as they are mostly trend hoppers who have historically never even debuted. I think that what you are witnessing is the problem that the indie scene as a whole developed, where that particular scene is overshadowed by the established indies in the west like Snuffy, Haruka, Momo, Bunny, etc. and vShojo (Who were indies prior), HoloEN, and now NijiEN. It is why Lyrica, someone who can truly be considered a successful indie ultimately has probably decided to go corpo because her growth fell off a cliff this year, not due to anything she did. However, I wouldn't use the Indie scene as a metric of the genre as a whole declining. HoloEN might not be bringing in the unsustainable liveviews that they used to but that should be expect with all things considered. The industry will continue to grow, albeit not at the staggering rate of 2020 as more small corpos develop and NijiEN itself develops as an alternative to the two other major organizations in the west.

in JP there's a sort of 'end game', musically-inclined livers got to do concerts and release albums, gaming people get to compete in tourneys (even non-fps ones like Yashiro for project sekai) and game collabs (Kagami with Duel masters), waifus/husbandos get to do cafe/merch collabs for otaku to collect goods (Sweets paradise, Wendys, Tokyu hands, etc)
