it's true that I feel that most people choose an oshi because either A) they YEARN, like physically their body ACHES for a person like them in their life or B) they identify with their oshi to a very personal level, either like a mentor, or person they admire, or if you're very special yourself you could even see them as someone you'd be friends with, that is someone who's at your very level.

Vtubing can be very perticular, buf fck wait PARTICULAR haha SORRY hahaha it can be very particular like that, the layer of separation between chuuba and roommate gives so much to the illusion and imagination.

ZEA(ZEA I LOVE YOU) once said that being parasocial isn't bad on itself, it can be very normal, and to me it really depends if you have what it takes to use that inspiration, or desire, or admiration to further nurture your life.
We live in such a strange new era thanks to the internet and technology, we are the ones who will dictate how these things will be seen in 10 years or even 5 years from now.

We have the bad things with schizos and stalkers, fleshtubers have it the worst, but I won't go into detail.
But we also have the GOOD side to it, streamers and youtubers can connect people together, make them feel part of a bigger whole, not alone, not solitary, there's more to life than being on your own and there's poeple popel p outher out there liek you!

I thought about that many times, how 100 years ago, people like us would have no escape, nowhere to go.
Imagine being caught in a blizzard at your homestead, with nothing to do, nobody to talk to, you're already a loner as it is, but now you can reahch out and find people liek you all the time!

And to me that's what vtubing has been about, I was a loner, I was afraid of speaking about myself, but I've learned that an awkward silence isn't the end of the world, just becaus eosmeone doesn't understand or isnt into the things I'm in doesn't mean they'll distance themselvs from me.

And about wome,n there's many misconceptions that I've learned about just spending time watching the ethyrYEAH girls and spending time here with the many cute women who post here(they're all cute to me!) I seriously can't come up with enough words or the right words to describe what I've learned from my experience in nijisanji so far, but I'm grateful to be part of this community.
