I genuinely believe that you can determine who is an immature/childish person - or if they're male, an unmanly man - based on how they react to things like alcohol. The reason why people treat those who are scared of things like alcohol or bitter foods as childish or unmanly is because it indicates a heightened fear response and a need to be not confronted with anything slightly dangerous at all times, like a child.

Being able to not give a fuck about the risks and transgress these fears on the other hand makes you seem tougher and less frightened easily to people (and in the case of men, more of a gigachad) if things like alcohol don't phase you.

This is all to say that I genuinely think islam is a religion/culture that makes people into overgrown children and the way they act is in line with this. The fact that these threads/this hobby is filled with such people is very annoying.
