Go! Princess Precure is a unique beast cause they hired Shingo Fuji to do a lot of key animation and boarding, but precure as a whole has always been weirdly ambitious. There's not a whole log of magic in the fighting aside from the occasional laser beam, most of it has and seemingly always will be just hand to hand combat. And if you think the animation outclasses one piece just wait till you see the ending sequences.
