I do think she knows what she was getting into this, she mentioned (both in streams before this and during) that she knows it wouldn't be just like a single week thing unless she got extremely lucky. That being said, there's a number of things she's being a little dumb about.
Example, the title doesn't give any info that this is a follow-based thing, the follow counter on the screen has "wraiccoons" instead of "followers" which is incredibly retarded because new followers won't know what that means and they won't realize that follow = bar go up and have no incentive to do it as a result
The most followers she's got were in the first few days because she just did collabs left and right with people she had never done anything with and got some crazy raids from it (the collab with Jerma and the resulting raid is the most obvious example). She even mentioned how this marathon made her feel less scared to reach out to people she's acquainted with for collabs, but then after Pixelmon came around she spent 2 full days only playing that and cooled down completely.
Even in the Miz & Emi collab she just did, she didn't try to bait a raid or anything (it'd be a bit shameless of course, but it'd almost certainly have shot her up to over 47k follows immediately). I'm pretty sure she's been stuck at 46k for the past 4 or 5 days at this point and at this rate if she doesn't do anything to help it she'll still be stuck at 48k in January.
