If you think very hard about it, Riku succeeded at "Nijisanjification" already, except he only did at the male side.
There is no real path for a male vtuber outside of NIjisanji, even a very successful one would always be the exception that prove the rule.

There is a parallel universe where the female side of Nijisanji didn't implode in late 2019 / early 2020 and they achieved complete "Nijisanjification".
In that timeline "japanese corporate vtubers" and Nijisanji would be one and the same thing with the rest of the industry being where Holostars JP are right now.
