I was chilling on my homeboard and wondered out loud whether there's a place on 4chan to discuss vtubers, since they're kind of a big deal lately (I had watched some of Ai's content, and that one Miko clip obliterated my fucking sides), and someone pointed me towards /jp/.
This was just before the EN debuts, so the first chuuba stream I watched was Mori's. Shit blew me away, and the rest is history. My previous obsessions weren't very intense at the time, so she took up lots of empty space in my head right away.
The only time I doubted my obsession was when the terms of the membership were first announced. They seemed kinda shitty at first, so I considered taking a step back. Then they were changed the next day, I went all in and never went back. Still regretting being a Day 2 member instead of Day 1 a ilttle.
