Think about it logically, why would she ever drop rapping? Something that she loves, that she keeps improving in, and which is her niche within Hololive. Cover wouldn't make her drop it and I doubt she would ever elect to change it when she's already shown many times that she is not locked into one style.
Whatever her announcement is, it's going to potentially bring a lot of eyes onto Hololive and herself. She's tidying the house up for that moment.

As for what those things could be. Easiest guess would be a big tour or signing onto/founding a label where she will be working with others. Which might limit her own output slightly but open up so many new things.

Right now I want a peaceful sleep and good dreams about her. Not waking up every half hour and feeling exhausted & depressed.

It's why I've been thinking Mori was at one point considered for the Council but she disliked how they went about things. Trying to claim monopoly and authority on these realities, freely playing with them and then condemning others for doing the same. In that headcanon I do see the Council as (initially) antagonists but it's not like Myth started out as all friends either.
