I stick with 768 first pass max for 1536 with highresfix. Its what NAI was trained on, going higher means you are stretching training data and thats why shit gets warped. My 3090 VRAM peaks at 23.6 GB when generating batches of 3x3 1024x1536. But for single images it doesnt go over 7GB at this resolution for me.
I sometimes get all black images too. Not sure why. I feel like it depends on whether the webui updated recently did something fucky while generating to give me OOM errors. Had a preiod where I didnt get any black image for weeks.
