Male avatars aren't a debuff, being a male is a debuff and only because you need to market to a different audience than just the generic "I like vtubers." guys that most girls have access to. This image with successful males goes around a lot. The only babi with views is Joel and you aren't and won't be him.

He's been around for months now, but he just recently came up about a week ago. He's handling it extremely well though, I can only see him getting bigger. I like to go over people's audience members (especially big donators) and see who else they follow and he does seem to have a fairly young crowd but if you don't mind that and are going for popularity, that's the fast track to it.
