I wonder about the volatility changes so I decided to test something quickly. Two random pairs of sells and the recorded price difference between them for four coins, with total share circulation at the end. I always assumed it was somewhat proportional to total shares and they just messed with the numbers slightly but this is weird. Ask/Bid spread seems to line up quite well but doesn't explain Irys. Raw volume right but buy/sell ratio doesn't.
