--- 2: Typically runs in the post-work timeframe, so you only get 2-3 hours to play at all.
--- minimal table set up, a lot of them don't even use GM screens (japs see it as unfair)

Now, the AKIBAHARA Model:
--- 1: copies 1 as the above, but often with the promise to run a trilogy or a few sequels, just like a film or anime series.
--- 2: likely to be more accessorized, so a more thorough set up is used. Minis and table-grids are possible, often played specifically in a game store or a well-equipped apartment.

Compare, USA model (not indicative of UK/Euros)
--- 1: Run a sprawling game of 6-24 sessions lasting 3-8 hours, often with grinding levels of detail, and a lot of fucking around. SOME groups get shit done. Often never completes or has a lot of fudging. often has a dumb gimmick like "level zero to 20 in one campaign" (this is so common it's not funny)
--- 2: accessorized to all fuck. typically starts before or after dinner and goes until 12am-3am.
