I regularly go to cons and was a staff of a non-commercial one for 5 years.
The cosplay community is legit a disgusting cesspool. You can make high-octane drama scenarios just by writing down things that happen there - scenarios that'd make Kuso no Honkai look like a Precure arc.

It's enough for a girl, no matter the looks, to go to a con wearing a cosplay exactly once to experience all kinds of creeps. If she goes again, it's not tolerance - it's perversion. Cosplayers are perverted sluts, with no exceptions.
Vtubers who go to cons AND get recognized are the same. Because it takes conscious effort for a vtuber to get recognized at a con. In the first place, you don't sound the same irl as you do on a stream. Drop your mannerisms, change your voice slightly - and you'll be unrecognizable. If you don't do it, you enjoy this kind of attention. And if you're that much of a narcissistic pervert, you also probably enjoy parading it on the internet.

I was given an initial design sketch to choose between a few elements then responded with feedback and an image with some edits I'd made to the initial draft.
