just out of boredom, how i would approach it.
color-mode layer with some alternative colors with gpen or other hard one.
multiply layer with some light blues with soft brush to create the form. When undecided on where light is coming from, i just go for 'somewhere in front/top' and make angles go darker in general.
Screen layer with near black colors with soft brush for popping off a little bit of the lights. Opposite of multiply layer.
lazy normal layer of white hilights with gpen in typical circular pattern to emphasize shape
