Flip Flappers is unironically a masterpiece and one of the greatest underrated anime of all time.
Many were disappointed at the ending's lack of payoff but taken as an episodic experience each episode was an amazing trip down completely new worlds that subvert and double subvert tropes and deliver so much spectacle and show it's just insane.The quality of the sountrack, the animation, the direction. It's just all excellent.
And the yuri was top tier too, the sense of magic and fantasy and adventure was perfect, the tone constantly keeps you on your toes you just don't know what the fuck will happen next.
