This is how it happened for me 100% with 1 of my Oshi ( I have 2: 1 en 1 jp) I just membered to the en one (first time I ever did anything like that, only ever watched and subbed to dudes) and I heard her sing and I just knew I would follow her no matter what even though her model is definitely something I've never been into( still isn't). My JP Oshi actually was the reason I started watching vtubers and she's always been a favorite but the more I watched the more I love the Pon and she officially became my 2nd Oshi even though I am EOP but because of her I've started nihongo reps even though it's pointless because Mikochi.....
