Here's a hypothetical that's on-topic to the discussion.
Let's say a man is on stage at a concert, and sings a raunchy song.
Now, let's say a man takes issue with that song, and so they pull out a gun and shoot the singer. The singer goes to the hospital, but recovers after a while. Meanwhile, the shooter is banned from the premises, and the previously easy-going concert venue has to beef up it's security procedures in response, which slightly depresses the atmosphere of the joint.
Now, if this were to happen, who would be at fault? The shooter, for shooting the singer, or the singer, for singing something that apparently would provoke the shooter?
