I mean this shit could work well for regular gaming streams as well, and would be a much better "vibe" if they could stick to character and stream.
Just imagine someone with avatar as pic related climbing LoL ladder or something, typing shit like -
> Friends! Let us work together to win this game!
and being unironically full-on positive throughout the entire experience, trying to salvage bad fights, trying to turn around the game even when far behind, never badmouthing anyone etc.
And when on a losing streak, they could even pause the game and make a full-on Shounen dialogue
> Kuh! I have tasted so much defeat... yet I will not give up! My goal is to <reach whatever rank> and I will NOT STOP until I make it! UWAAAAA! *clicks queue up again*
No fleshie can replicate this type of shit without looking ultra cringe, but it works when it's an anime dude going for it.
They can do the whole "full on keigo" for their senpais as well to keep the character going.
There's a chance of it getting repetitive if you don't change it up from time to time though.. as mentioned in the first post, it's REALLY hard to make this type of character work in the VTubing world with a good balance.

And of course, that's not the only character, there's the whiny types, the headstrong types, the quiet anti-hero types...
Ultimately, the difference between male VTubers and male fleshstreamers comes down to the one thing that VTuber males have that fleshie males don't - Being able to play a character and a lore + storyline that you build for yourself.
BUT at the same time, unlike fleshies who can just pop open a camera and stream as themselves, the male VTuber needs to put a lot of work into being the "character" that they are playing. Probably far more than the girls need to.
And so far, there's just not been that many male VTubers that have been willing to put in all that work into their character...
