Man, I really think I could like Nina, because when she just talks like a normal human being I actually find her pleasant to listen to and she sounds pretty smart and mature and insightful. But every time she says "honey" I make the Excalibur face. Why did she have to do that? It's so... derivative. It's like if a VTuber debuted and she just kept saying "FAQ" all the time. It's poor form to copy what someone else already does. Ironically enough if she picked any other word other than honey it probably wouldn't bother me as much, like if she used the Russian equivalent or something, which is apparently милый, which is apparently pronounced like Millie so I suppose that wouldn't work in this specific context so I guess she'd need to find something else. Well, it's all a hypothetical that will never happen anyway. But it would feel novel because you don't really have anyone else who calls you by a Russian term of endearment.
