They were also kinda dangerous sometimes, I remember a few times the iron rings in the middle would shatter and fly across the room, eventually my school banned them.

I've probably seen enough Pokemon streams for a lifetime especially the new games which fucking suck. I dumped thousands of hours in the old pokemon games but dropped the new ones after the first gym due to how soulless they are. If they got permission to play the old games or some of the romhacks like the B/W2 or HGSS ones then I'd be super into it but knowing they're just gonna play SW/SH or Arceus ruins any hype for Pokemon.
