Yeah, I'd believe that too mangakas get worked to death over there and for not much much money (especially currently). I feel like the current digital tools out there would probably make it easier to ramp up production and he was very much an early adopter of using them. But who knows.

It's the same problem people have with reading Alan Moore's stuff, Watchmen specifically. Too many words not enough Luffy punching a boat over 8 splash pages.
