Kudos to her for not going negative in public. But stuff like this made me notice that how different she is from Gura.

Pekora is just obsessed with numbers, isn't she? Even Marine alluded to it by saying she does not dare ask for a collab with Pekora until she could suggest a good collab idea, because Pekora is the "most passionate" about streaming. Yeah, even her own colleagues noticed Pekora's obsession. While I can't even imagine Gura talking about her numbers or rankings or anything. Even though chumbuds are obsessed with numbers.

I like Sora and Azki but they are quite flawed. Azki has incredibly short breath, while Sora uses her wrong voice for idol singing. They can shine for certain songs, but not generally.

Hololive "singers" are good tier at best (represented by maybe Gura and Suisei). But when you compare to vsingers outside hololive like Leona and Hachi, it's clear that hololive wants a professional singer to give them the musical boost.

In fact, I fully expect to compare Irys to Leona and Hachi. With Cover's popularity, there is no excuse that they can't find a better singer, but I suppose we'll see.

There is consideration for her fellow genmates. But there is also the fact that Gura is a nihilist who understand it is all fleeting. It's a serious outlook on things, more than just humility or playing nice. Fubuki was there before her, and Kizuna Ai was there before her. And like the Ozymandias poem, tomorrow there will be a hotter thing in town. She is much more concerned about her own life and happiness, than worrying about how she currently stacks up to others. Another factor that contributes to her own jadedness is that a large portion of her current fanbase is just curated yes men who send overly sweet nothings and unending adoration. To put it simply, it's like when a smart guy has been told he's smart for all his life, or a pretty girl hears how she's pretty so much. At some point, you stop caring for those praises (one particular case was Aqua who said it took just one negative comment to rattle her).

Unique voice with good pitch control but weak lows tier: Gura
Good fundamentals but lacking smooth transitions tier: Suisei
Possibly great for opera but using the wrong voice for idol singing tier: Sora
Lots of soul but incredibly short breath tier: Azki
Okay singing but great at Nana Mizuki songs tier: Mio
Chillax but occasionally impresses tier: Okayu
Rarely sings seriously so can't really judge progress tier: Risu

Recommend me some new good covers / originals that sound as nice or Hachi or Leona.
