It's honestly impressive how far he's come. As someone who was with him since Day 1, he only knew like 5 words, probably had even worse english than Okayu and Lamy. But consistent days of learning eigo, switching up how he learns it (some days Duolingo, some days interacting with fans, like learning kaigainikkis musical tastes/hobbies/favorite foods and even some days spent translating songs from movies and fables from English to Japanese) and not to forget that he actually writes a shit ton of notes down in a notebook he can reference off of. If there was anyone who was actually determined to learn English, it's Temma.

This is his fifth Apex stream since starting the challenge and I think he started it at Gold. Diamond is the last rank before Masters and it's also the hardest to rank up because you lose so much points on joining up for a game. It may look like he's made no progress but it's mostly because progress when you reach Diamond slows to a goddamn snail crawl if you're not getting champion with maximum kill points every single game. That being said, he's actually more than halfway into getting into Diamond 3 so there's that at least.
