Unfortunately drama is a given in this field because streamers are modern day celebrities in the same way actors and singers and sportsmen were before internet, and to the same effect. There will always be pointless gossip, crazy theories and unhealthy obsessions from people who have no life of their own so they follow lives of others.
I imagine anyone interested in AI stuff jumped the ship once they've realized that Vedal can't squeeze anything else out of himself.
