Probably not happening? I think Giri mentioned only being in Japan for 6 more days last week and she tweeted this earlier and finishing souvenir shopping + bringing up her luggage sounds like she could be preparing to go back home. I'm sure they met up it just wasn't streamed though with how frequently Mel was messaging Giri while she was live.
